In this reading, there were many important points but there were many points that I thought were wrong and maybe ever arbitrary. The author explains, in a general point of view that all extroverts are into a certain type of music and that, without exception, it has to be that way for all. Besides, the author actually targets and describes people that like a specific type of music and indirectly states that if a person likes Rock then that person has to wear dark clothing, black eyeliner, piercings, and clothing that would call the attention of others.
One thing that really calls my attention, is how the reading portrays a specific idea of a group of people and their taste in music. It is represented on a table by the end of the reading that if a person likes a specific genre of music then they will vote for a candidate rather than the other and it is not stated as a possibility but more like a confirmation that they will.
If my taste in music would mean that I would make irrational political decisions then I would rather not like music.
